Request assistance identifying TPI interchangablility

As in my signature, I have an '88 Formula, and an '85 Trans Am. Both are tpi (350 & 305, resp). I know there are differences in the years of TPI bases, but what will it take to adapt one base to the other. In specific: I need a new base for the Trans Am (85 305), and the Formula is up in milage, and due for a rebuild. What will I need to do to the 88 manifold to make it work on the 85, using the 85 "hardware" (injectors, MAF, TB, etc.,)? I'm having a VERY hard time locating a base by itself, and have no need for a new "set". Also, will the stock "hardware" and runners fit the Edelbrock manifold? Thanks in advance for everyone's assistance.

To my knowledge, the only differance between the manifold base plates is the center 4 holes. These holes are angled differently for 86 and earlier, and 87 up. I think if you just enlongate the holes, everything will line up properly, and you can re-use it on the 88 later again.

Thanks, R.O.B.; anyone know about the stock runners w/Edelbrock manifold? All replies are appreciated.

I know that the Edelbrock manifold is drilled for both head designs so you are ok with that. The angle size, all that stuff is standard on the runners, you will be able to bolt up any year runner to the edelbrock manifold.
