Look to a torque arm and lower control arms. This will help with your launch. I'd also recommend getting some subframe connectors to help with stability and longevity with the car. Just my two cents.

I know you want to keep your 2.73 gears, but going to 3.08 is not going to hurt your fuel economy that much, and is going to give you a much better acceleration. I am running at about 1900 rpm at 60 mph with my 3.42 and my 5 speed. Just my

400 hp hit the nail on the head. Your car won't suffer economy that much, go with the 3.42's this is where to get the bang for your buck. Just remember if thats a 10-bolt which I assume it is you need to buy a 3.42 thick gear set to keep your carrier.

Nitrous is fun but there is something about a bad@$$ suspension and great handling that gets addictive. Remember, it will help launch and cornering.

Re: 305tpi mods...whats next?

My '91 305 TPI was a bore to drive. So I altered my air cleaner assembly and attached a K&N air cone, switched the slow 2:73 gear to a 3:42 and alumium '98 Camaro drive shaft. BIG difference car now then before. Minor cost, about 500 and change. Andrew

Re: 305tpi mods...whats next?

hello!!! the guy needs headers and a 3" catback. without those any other mods wont perform up to par. the exhaust is the most restrictive part on any thirdgen.
