What the @#&$ is up with JET chips on TPI??
Just got a stage 1 JET chip for my 1989 TPI 350 and per instructions, it requires the stock chip to be piggy backed on it. Is this correct?
Who has installed a JET chip on a TPI without problems? It's difficult to install because of limited space around the socket. The Hypertech on my other car (RS TBI) didn't require the old stock chip to be incorporated along with the old.
I know off the shelves chips are not worth it but snagged one at $50 and just couldn't resist.
