Hey I have a important question?

ok I dont know what this thing on the TPI is called. Its like round and right under the top of the TPI. I think its in the middle of the manifold. Well there is like a vacum line going off it going towards the passenger side, but there is a screw in it. I was just wondering whats the function of that thing and when having that screw in it what does it do?

How far under the plenum is it, I think it sounds like you're describing an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, there is only two things under the plenum that have vacuum lines: The Fuel pressure regulator and the EGR valve...... And if the FPR has a screw on top of it, it's adjustable...

well I know its not the regulator I think its the EGR then but it has a vacum line coming off of it but it doesnt go any where someone put a screw in the line to plug it. I was wondering by having the line plugged what difference that makes.

The EGR's mian function is to control emmisions by lowering the combustion temperature, so if all the emissions eqpt. is removed it should be fine. I ahve heard somewhere though that hvaing the EGR disconnected sometimes results is a small loss of power.
