i know it has "been out" for a while, but was it actually available to buy?

i dont remember ever seeing it with an actual part number and a set price before, and an "add to order" button.

sorry..

No no no, don't be sorry bro, infact thanks for bringing it to our attention. But, It would have been alot more useful to many of us when they said it was going to come out the first time!

Why would you be afraid to say something dumb here?? You can be assured it'd get lost with all the dumb stuff I say. :-)

Well I sent an email to them asking if the base was in stock and available, and what "extra" parts are required for EGR installation. Will post what their reply is when I get it.

i am TBI guy since i have an RS, but like i said before, i plan on doing a TPI setup on my crate engine this winter.

as far as TBI goes, EGR is relatively useless. in the year that i have had my crate motor in with no emmissions controls whatsoever, i NEVER have had a code, not even EGR.

is TPI dependant on emissions controls such as EGR, and A.I.R.? i hope it isnt, because its pretty nice not having to worry about it now, and hopefully i wont have to next spring with TPI.

thanks for the info.

You can definitely go without AIR without a problem. Your cat i more likely to get clogged though so i suggest you gut it or replace it with a pipe. I know you can run TPI without EGR but I've heard that its not worthwhile. It'll probably throw a code, so unless you can burn proms it'll be a hassle. Also it helps cool the inatake and prevent detonation as far as I can remember. So if memory serves me correctlty its not worth it to drop the EGR unless you have to (miniram and the like). I could be talking out of my *** though so do a search on it and get more input.
