I have the fast burn heads on my car I made my own base for it I had to take a base from a 86 TPI F car and build it up around the outer edges I then had to reserfice it so that it would sit on the heads correctly I works grate and I only spent 100 on it. Im going to remove it and replace it with one of thairs I dont have access to a dyno so I will not have any # to compair the one drow back to this switch is that the stock emisions will not work in the same way if you use thier base you will have to change to the vet set up.

What is involved in switching to a vette emissions setup? Are there any major gains in HP or Torque? I am looking into building up a TPI 355 myself, wanting to hit 400+ HP and still be emissions legal (or atleast make it LOOK that way) Are there any post on doing the conversion? How expensive is it?

Poor college student(donations welcome ;0) with an all stock 1988 5.7L IROC-Z Hardtop, Auto. trans, white ext. w/gold accents (soon to be silver), black custom cloth interior, 4-wheel discs and G92 pkg. Car is dead stock. Has only standard Z28 power options and all the IROC performance stuff you could get. No pwr. seats, mirrors, or rear defrost.

Best run: 1/4 14.90 @ 92.7 MPH

No, the Fast Burn heads are not emissions legal, and the Scoggin Dickey Vortec TPI intake wont be smog legal either. But you can make them look like it.
