Ram Air II hood and functional...can it be done?
That ram air II hood looks sweet, but so as not to be fake...can you make it functional?
I've got maf, the new t/as have maf, can the airbox from a ramair t/a be fit under a ram air II hood?
I've seen the kit from suncoast creations, will this work for the ram air II hood?
Thanks guys.

Nice to see SOMEONE took notice of the post. Thanks. This hood along with few others looks good on a thirdgen t/a. My q still hasn't been answered, although if I buy one I'm sure I'll post info on how to make it functional for the tpi maf cars
I built a ram air set up for my truck it wasn’t that bad in this case what I would do is use the peace of a comarro tpi car that goes from the TB to the mass air sencer maybe two one for each side I would then use cardboard to start building the pattern for the air box to do this you would first use a box the same dimensions as the vents coming in from the hood you would then have to start cutting it down so that it fits properly agenst the hood after this you would then have to start figuring out the depth of the air box so that the hood has clearance to shut after this then you would need to go to your local parts store auto zone what ever it may be and find a rectangular air filter or two that will fit in this box you may have to make the box a little wider or such to compensate for the filter after you find a filter that will work you then cover the cardboard with fiberglass and then spend a lot of time making it straight so you can paint it or you could use sheet metal and weld or rivet it together. What I id for the truck was them used a piece of universal door seal that I got from auto zone around the edge to seal it. With out actually having a hood in front of me I’m not positive on the hood clearance so you may have to off set every thing to clear stuff or remove a few things from the car to make room. But it shouldn’t be that bad to do just a lot of trial and error to get the fit right. You may even have to build your own connector from TB to mass air sensor you can use sheet metal for this. If some one with one of those hoods lived close to me I would be willing to take a shot
I was looking at Cervinis hoods online
ever heard of them?
they have a nice dual nostril hood (like a cobra) for 3rd gens...
but of course i call and ask if it is functional...of course its not.
they would be seeling alot more hoods if they would change a couple things...
