What mods to TPI are needed?
In preparing for replacing my tired LB9, what are the minimum mods I need to make to the TPI components that will work with the following motor:
383 ci, WP Torquer heads, 2.02 Intake, 1.60 exhaust, hydraulic cam w/ .050 Duration, 224 deg Intake, 234 deg exhaust, operating range of 2200-5500 rpm. With a 750 cfm carb, the motor puts out 385 hp @ 5000 rpm and 440 ftlbs at 3500 rpm.
I know the stock system is supposed to flow 750 cfm. I figured I would need to get a better flowing base, 24# injectors, a 52mm TB and a custom chip.
I would also do headers and a catback at the same time. Let me know what you think.

You're very close now. Get a free-flowing base(by price), port the manifold yourself, and bigger runners. If you do the manifold now, it will be easier to change tubes later if you can't afford to now. Depending on cam and rpms, I don't think a 58mm would be out of the question for a high horsepower 383 either. That can be changed later too, very easily. Yes, obviously a chip change from a good place. If you're concerned with high rpm power, maybe a miniram or similar, other than the tube method. A 383 won't be that short on lower rpm torque anyway.
