Hey fellas. New poster here. I've got a question. Does my 85 Iroc-z 305 TPI have a factory roller cam? Also, are the disc brakes on the rear axle rare? Thanks

 

TPI's started coming with factory roller cams in 1987. Assuming yours is all stock, it wont have a roller cam.

My 85 Iroc has drum brakes on the rear. I dont know if disc on the rear are rare, but I would def want them.

 

You can have rear discs on an 85, but the setup-from what I understand-is sorta a crap system. I have heard of the calipers seizing up easily. Also, they are smaller than the later BW 9-bolt setups, which had aluminum calipers and larger rotors. I would switch to that if possible.
