Hello, i have a int. overcharge problem that i can't get rid of. i have replaced the alt. and same problem. the book says check red wire with a test light. it lights, shows ok. the book shows the red wire splicing into the black wire to the batt. but my red wire goes to the starter with a fuseable link. anybody else with a 2 wire connector please tell me where there red wire goes. any ideas? thanks for all the help. tom

i think i fixed problem. my red wire out of my alt goes to the starter with a fused link. i tagged into the red wire and put the other end at the alt stud. drove 15 miles today with no problem. thanks, tom
