Fuel Pressure Q's
Fuel Pressure Q's
whats up guys, I'm trying to get this dang thing ready for the juice but have a couple more questions left.
1. Can I check my FP when the car is running using a handheld FP guage, or do I need a permanent guage of some sort?
2. I have SLP runners and it looks like a royal beeatch to even get to the schrader valve on the fuel rail...what should I do? Any of you guys have that problem?
3. The car has 80,000 original miles and I really don't want to change the pump. What do you think? I'll be hitting it w/ a 150 level.
thanks fellas

Did you try unbolting the map sensor? You can check both pressures w/o moving. Connect the gauge, and turn the key ON only. The pressure will jump up to the max(no vacuum). Then, start it, and check the vacuum pressure, and verify max and take the vacuum line off.
