Siamesed stock runners inside...

http://rain.prohosting.com/imwhom/junk/inj/

I was pulling the plenum to swap injectors anyway, so i went ahead and siamesed the plenum and through the flange on the stock runners, so maybe an inch worth of siamesing vs. stock, plus i radiused everything up better than i had it already. (Yes i was really bored)
It still runs, feels really good, but it could be the cold air too.

- Definitely prototypes, high powered mutants of some kind. Too weird to live, too cool to die

Interesting ...

I can't imagine explaining to my wife when she found car parts in the dishwasher.

I had often thought about putting an old dishwasher in the garage!

I plan on getting some SLP runners. For now, I could do the plenum port like you did, and then be ready for the runners.

Mark.
PS. You DO have too much time!

I done the same to my runners and plenum. It knocked off a tenth on my ET and added about 2 mph in the 1.8th.

Yeah, but is the slight siamesing of the stock runners worth doing? (or) Should I just smooth out the step/mismatch in the runners?

Just Siamese it!! seriously its less work then trying to individually grind down each little Box between each runner port. Plus make sure you grind down those boxes up front by the TB ports also. Then once u have siamese portsed the plpenum radius the runners also! IMO I dont think you would notice all that much if u just cleared those boxes out opposed to siamesing. I know that I noticed alot of gain in throttle responce and top end(not much but like said "every little bit helps"
