It's a hydraulic roller cam with 218/224 degrees of duration at .050" lift, 270/276 duration at .006" (advertised duration), .495"/.503" lift with 1.5 rockers, and a 112 LSA. Excellent cam for a 350, quite small for a 406, especially with a SuperRam. I'd get at least the 224/230 or even the 230/236 since the extra displacement can stand the increased duration. If you're concerned about the idle quality and/or emissions with one of these cams, you can get it ground with a 114 LSA to smooth things out some. I'm not sure if the cam you were recommended is for earlier engines (retrofit roller lifters necessary) or a direct replacement for a TPI engine, so you'll need to look into that (CompCams has a website with all of the pertinent info).
