FPR removal? Vader?

I've got my fuel rails all pulled apart
to do the AFPR modification but cant
figure out how to get the regulator
off. It looks like there is enough flex
in the fuel line to let it come off but
I cant get it off. Is there something
holding it on the rail that I'm not
seeing? Do I need to disassemble the
regulator first? Or do I just need to
quit being a puss and pry it off?

THX,
Jack

BTW, does anyone have a source for the
.310 steel ball I'm supposed to use
in the AFPR mod?

There sgould be some tamperproof torx bits going around the reg. You need to remove those and put the new regulator on. The fuel rails DON'T come apart.

Thanks for the advice but that's not the problem. I know how to get the FPR
apart. I just cant seem to get the
regulator base off of the right side
fuel rail. I'm sure it just pulls off
after you remove the retaining bracket
and the long screw underneath it
but it sure is stubborn! And I'm afraid to
force it. I'm just looking for confirmation
that it comes off this way before I get
horsy with it.
