Any use a ramjet cam in a 350 TPI motor
I am going through my L98 I just bought and I am using the tpi system for now. I am wondering if anyone has used the ramjet motor's roller cam. the specs are I: 0.431 and E:0.451 lift. The duration is I:196, E:207 and the lobe seperation is 109. I plan to swap out to the ramjet injection system within a year or two, and install the vortec heads then to, but if I could do that cam for now, I wouldn't have to mess with the short block. Would it hurt or help the L98? Any advice would be a great help.

That'd be a good cam for a stock or mild 305, but too small for a 350, in my opinion. I'm surprised they get that much power from the RamJet with that cam.

I think your lossing alot by switching as I think an L98 cam is 207/213, so you would be lossing. I would say it is a waste of time, plus I think the computer would have trouble with the lobe.
