man:( FP revisited HELP!!

I'm trying to get this L98 in my 92 Z tuned for the citrus nationals coming up on Thanksgiving weekend. I am installing a FP guage (in car) b/c of the juice but just thought about something... Apparently you have to disconnect some sort of vacum line or something to get a proper FP reading correct? Otherwise you will get a low reading? Well, then the FP numbers I'll be seeing while running the car is gonna be false!! What do I do??? Am I missing something here? What do you guys w? in car guages do w/ this issue?
thanks

the vacuum line your referring to is the pressure
regulator line. senses the loss of manifold
vacuum (load) and richens the fuel circuit
by raising fuel pressure.
generally if you remove the vacuum line the pressure
raises 5-7lb.
this shouldnt interfere with your gauge.
your measuring line pressure. lack of pressure
means LEAN. so you need an adaquate
supply to the fuel feeder lines.
