It seems like every time I come into this board, there is some type of flame fest going on. Someone rubs someone else the wrong way. I am tired of reading nasty posts going back & forth. Even with the moderator.

I used to enjoy being around here and helping folks out. That WAS the point of all this isn't it? NOW I feel like sevral folks have taken it upon themselves to be nasty.

If we have nothing good to say, and just want to put someone else down, find yourself somewhere else to do it. We are here to help each other, not to put others down.

Locking people out ticks them off too, and that can end up being a bad thing. Some are new here, and a little bit of conflict goes on just from that. The flame stuff has been around forever, its kinda like an ebb and flow too.. comes and goes. If something or someone is REALLY bothering you, email one of the moderators.. but not me, I cant help you on this board aside of telling them.

I'd be willing to bet in a month it will be another calm before the storm.

 

Yeah man I wouldn't go throwing any grief at the moderators, its not like you're paying for their services. Keeping 10,000 idiots under control is a daunting task, and I wouldn't expect or want them to lock every flame war. Every once in a while theres a fight in the playground, but you don't go cancelling recess. Alot of people here are from back in the day when we had an NTB, and they're still trying to get out of their old habbits.

okfoz putting up a post like this is just asking for the very thing you despise. I'm fairly new to this board and will always respond to someone putting out bad information. Particularly if it is a moderator. BTW they worst flaming has been by moderators who seem to be annoyed by posts by newer guys that are asking the same old questions.
