Need fuel rail CS-plug size
Need fuel rail CS-plug size
Anyone know the correct size cap that's needed to plug the hole that the cold start injector hooks into (back side, driver's side). My CS injector has been leaking so time to plug it up, and I ain't about the buy the $70 kit.
Thanks fellas

Couldn't you take it off and bring it to a parts store and have them match it up?

Cool found it on a digitalcorvettes.com
It's a -8AN port plug. Can snag it at a plumbing store or Earl's online for a few bucks.
No way in heck I'd pay the $30 or $65 that some companies charge, what a bunch of bs!

So is mine an 86, I'll check the rail off my 85 TA I still have. I already checked the port plug and it's 8an, I have a cap that size and several other fittings so I know it's correct.
edit: I would think if there was different sizes, the people who sell plug kits would sell two and say something like make sure you get the right one.

Even in this ebay add you can see the 8an end is larger http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevy-TPI-SBC-Cold-Start-9th-Injector-6-8-AN-Adapter-Runner-Plug-Kit-/311421501359?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
