Depends, but if you look around you can find some steals out there. I've seen many TPI cars, even L98s that seemed in reasonable shape w/ fair mileage near 3k or so. Sometimes you'll see jokers who try to jack their prices up b/c they perceive they have something special, but realistically none of our cars are worth that much. Sure TTAs, verts, some pace cars, have a following and can demand coin, but a plain jane IROC / GTA w/ over 50k miles and in driven condition is just another 10+ year old car that needs work and TLC.

 

wow mt that seems like a good deal. The insides looks shot though . But still I wish I had it . My cars not bad but just slow I think I have pictures of it on my site or here on thirdgen

Just purchased a 89 Formula 350 for 700 bucks. Needed a front fender($25) (very minor damage to fender), a new driver seat($25) and a radiator($45) (had a small leak). Total= 795 bucks. The engine is strong as hell. No leaks, no smoke, has a new alt, starter, chip and 4 inch mufflex exhaust. Keep your eyes open, you can find some deals out there.
