Sounds like a bad/maladjusted TPS but it really could be practically anything. Start by checking the TPS, you can do a search and find more than enough info on how it's done. Depedning on year, it could be a MAF or MAP sensor problem as well.

I live over in Bartow, just south of lakeland. Did you check you timing? How often does it do this, ya know, hot, cold, ect. If you've done the tune-up stuff then it could very well be the TPS, or maybe the TB is full of carbon. Let us know what's up.

did you have this difficulty before or after
the parts addition?
several items to look into.
fuel:
filter, pressure, delivery.
computer:
TPS, CTS, knock sensor, EST.
exhaust:
restriction, collasped pipe, clogged cats.
tune up:
plug gap, coil output, wire resistance.
hope this helps

I had the same problem and it was because the MAF sensor was shot, the filament wire inside was broken.

Check the TPS first. I don't know what the settings are supposed to be on a TPI, I'll *** ume they are the same as my GN, .46v at idle and 4.6 at WOT. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

If it's a speed density car, check the vacuum signal to the MAP sensor. The line should be soft and pliable, if it's hard, cracked, etc replace the vacuum line.

If you have a Mass Air car, let the car idle in park. Get out of the car and lightly tap the MAF meter with a small screwdriver or anything similar, if the car stumbles when you tap the meter, odds are it's shot.

This is assuming you have checked the obvious, fuel pressure, ignition, grounds, etc.

Well he is the up date on my ride ---

i just bought the ac rapid fires plugs new wires and the tps sensor and some superconcentrated fuel injector cleaner
and it ran good for about 30 mins then when i went to get get gas down the strret it statred again to jerk back and forth harder because it has more power now i guees cause of the tune up.

i was thinking can it be because of my systmen in my car i have 2 12" speaker right where the tank in the little well that hit pretty hard and i was wantering if that bass can mess with the fuel pump at all.

and so now what can it be now i think the maf sensor or if anything the fuel pump or just get the 350 ?????????? thnanks

Are you running a cat or cats. Possible they may be heating up a stopping the ehaust up. This could cause these symtoms as well.

If i was you,id look in the MAF and see if it looks like the filament wire is broken inside it,and make sure none of the wires going into the MAF sensor harnes connector came out. When i had the same problem as you i didnt understand, and it was as if i was giving the car gas and then letting up and giving it gas again and then letting up again when id try to drive with the bad MAF.Just take a peak inside and see if the wire looks broken.By the way, does your check engine light come on at all,and/or have you pulled any trouble codes?
