where's an article on modifing a LT1 intake for an older small block

I was surfing the internet the other day and I saw a topic where they were telling how to modify a LT1 intake to fit a older small block.

I thought I book marked it, but didn't. It was on one of these gm sites. Could any body tell me were it is?

Hey John,
will I need the LT1 fuel rails also or will my tuneport rail fit?

What about the throttlebody will the tuneport fit or do I need the LT1 throttlebody?

You will need the LT1 fuel rails.

You can use either the TPI TB or the LT1 TB.

Is there any specific sensors I'll need when I find an intake? I'm not sure what came with the LT1 intake. I see alot of bare intakes. I can get the fuelrails seperate. It's getting hard to find a complete LT1 intake.

I still have the sensors on the Tuneport intake. I don't know if there the same.

I won't be running egr. I'll also be running fel-pro speed-pro unit.

Depends on what throttle cable you want to use. If you use the TPI Throttle body, you can use the stock throttle cable. If you use the LT1 throttle body, you will have to buy the LT1 throttle cable. John and I found this out the hard way. If you need an LT1 throttle cable, I have one for cheap!
