The mission... give my 305 TPI engine a new sound and more horsepower with $100...
I'm thinking...
Catalytic Converter Removal.
Air Foil into intake manifold.
Cold Air Intake with K&N Air Filter.
Anything else I'm forgetting?

LOL! Air intake improves gas mileage.
The other 2 probably won't though. =]

Actually, all 3 likely would if you keep your foot outta it.

Yeah, headers and a good exhuast system..... of course that would cost more than a 100 bucks.

Yeah, the headers and everything aren't going to happen quite yet.
I already have a flowmaster muffler. Thats about it right now. Looking for a louder, deeper tone.

What Flowmaster do you have? I pulled a Flowmaster crossflow (I think it was on 80 series?) and replaced it with a Flowmaster Super 40 single exit, the sound is totally different. I have a cat and the super 40 is VERY deep and downright loud to boot. Revving the car in the driveway makes dishes rattle inside the house on shelves it's so bassy. One of these day's I'll get a sound clip up.
Flowmaster is all about the sound though. They are not the best flowing mufflers.

for about $60 you could get a "cut-out or dump". you would have to crawl under the car with a wrench when ever you wanted make your presence known but it is the only way i can think of to change the tone of your car for under $100. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...11529_-1_10245
