If you find out, let me know. I've thought about doing the same thing but they don't make the fuel pressure gauges with isolators for TPI. 45-50 psi is kinda hard to isolate I guess.

1986 Trans AM
355 TPI
4 Wheel Disc Brakes
9 bolt Borg Warner Rear (2.77's....oh joy) :P
6" rods, approx. 9.7:1 Compression, Stock TPI (soon to be ported), 24#/hr LTI injectors (cleaned and flowmatched by Cruizin Performance), Hedman Shorty Headers, 3" exhaust with 80 series flowmaster, SBC 993 heads completely redone and modified for 1.6 RR, 1.52 RR (for now), Comp Cams XE262-14 TPI Cam, Holley AFPR, TPIS airfoil, MSD wires, MSD 6-AL Ignition, Hypertech 53,000 volt coil.

Track times to come.

It's quite expencive but,you can get the electric autometer guage to run inside the car. I think they cost like $180.

Autometer makes the high pressure 0-100 psi isolator, don't have the PN on hand but Summit does carry them even though it's not listed in their catalog. You use antifreeze between the isolator and gauge but it can be a PITA to set up.

I'd get the electric version instead.

The electric setup is not much more, and you dont have to use autometer either.

Summit tried selling me an electric unit with a sender when I bought my mechanical. I wanted it mechanical and mounted outside,
so thats what I bought. But overall, the electrical setup was only about 30.00 more than the 80.00 I spent.

Rather than buying 40.00 line, you buy a
40.00 sender, and the gauge was prolly 20
or 30 bux more or something.

I have the Autometer Phantom Electric gauge in my a-piller. I forget what I paid for it because i also got a Tach and water temp and the dual piller pod.

I say get the gagues you want spend the few extra bucks for the electric one.

I was going through the same problem but I decided to go with the mechanical gauge and mounted it where the formula scoop is. Here are some pics:

The guage should come with everything you will need to install it except the piller pod or the hardware for however you decide to install the guage.
