Accel injectors!

Ok I’ve searched all the forums and stuff but still can't find a definite answer. I have an 89 IROC TPI 350, headers and K&N filters, Flowmaster cat back and no cat. What Accel injectors should I order to replace my worn out stock pieces? I don't have an AFPR and don't really plan to get one any time soon. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would just go with the 24# injectors... stock is all you need unless you get into hefty cams and higher compression. I am simply gettin gmine flowed, blueprinted and matched. Better than brand new ones... it costs 10bux an injector.

well if u go with 24# injectors you will need a new chip burned since stock injectors are 22#'s

I just replaced my old 22# injectors with accel 23# injectors and everything is working great. I got rid of them cuz they were leaking. I sold the old ones for $60 so it really only cost me $170 for 8 new injectors. They have been in for about a month and no problems with them at all

If you want to upgrade your fuel system for cheep get Ford motorsports they are flo mached from the factory and with them being flow matched you will get more consistant performance from cylinder to cylinder. 24# injectors would not be too much for a semi stock engine.

The new engine is in but I am still having some small problems.

I ended up ordering a set of 21 lb/hr accel injectors. I figured they would be better than the 21's for what i'm going to be doing. Thanks for the replys.

So if I understand this, If I buy the SVO 24# Injectors. I have to get a new chip burned? How much of difference would it make if I didnt get a new chip? I am asking because of the Formula that I have recently bought. The TPI was torn apart and the injectors were gone. If the 24's are too big or require a new chip, WHERE DO I GET THE FACTORY 22'S????? Anybody know?

The factory 22 lb injectors are available except they are really expensive. You can do as i did and order the accel injectors in 21 or 23 lb/hr. THey aren't advertised but are available as a special order through most companies that deal with accel products.
