I have an 89 Iroc with a 305, when I was driving it yesterday it would hessitate horribly at random times, my friends thought I was playing with the brake/throttle. All my vacuum lines are good, I have no codes, all my valves/sensors are doing what they are supposed to, now I know my fuel filter hasnt been changed in a long time, I'm thinking it could be that. Any input? Thanks.

You dont want to know. My gas gauge might have been giving me a false reading so when I was making left hand turns guess what, no gas. It just started getting to the point of it would completely die around the corner then come back when it straightened out. So I said let me put gas in it
