350 vortec hsr
350 vortec hsr
ok so i bought me a 350 vortec and i want to put it in my 86 iroc with a hsr and headers. what kind of headers should i get and will i need to change any thing under the hood for the hsr. i know i have to buy a hsr for the vortec heads but thats all i know that i need.

You'll need the stuff that's different between TPI and HSR, that's all.

Probably a different distributor, but I don't know for sure. '85-'86 had the large cap distributor, '87-'92 had small. Holley probably used all the room they could for the majority of applications. Guys on the TPI forum would probably be able to answer that.
No issues with the computer if you use the TPI stuff on the HSR. Tuning for optimal performance is pretty much a given. Again, TPI forum is probably a better place to find out.
