Transmission: 700 R 4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
305 trans am tps
I had changed the tps in my car and it idled and ran fine for about a day then the next day i went out to start it and it did the same thing it did before it just would not idle i am pretty sure its the tps but what could be shorting it out since it is a new one any help would be good the car is a 1987 trans am with a 305 tpi

The TPS has to be set at the correct voltage of .54 or very close for it to work properly.

Thank you all for your guys help i havent had much time to look cause im getting married on the 6th but i will check everything you guys suggested ill make sure i double check the voltage too im not sure when i can do this but i will keep you guys posted
