ok, about 2 weeks ago, i put in a bbk 52mm tb. i figured it would give me an improvment in throttle response and hp. the oly problem was during the installation, the stock rubber boot that goes from the maf to the tb was to small to fit over the now larger tb. so i tryed heating it up to make it fit and it ripped. so now air is getting sucked in and my car isnt running right. i want to make sure thats the problem. also if anyone knows where i can find one that would be great bc i cant seem to come upon one anywhere

Yes that would be a problem since you have a maf sensor. Air is entering the motor that is not flowing over the sensor and will make it run like crap.
