plenum ported to 52mm tb

i recently got a 52mm tb but im thinking that i should have my plenum ported to get more hp out of the setup. will that give me a noticable difference? also should i get larger runners while im at it? thanks

Re: plenum ported to 52mm tb

Bolt it up, open the throttle all the way and look down the bores. I haven't found that it's far off with a 52mm unit. 58 defintely takes work, but 52 is usually pretty a pretty good match, even bolt-on.

Bigger runners are a different discussion. Almost always helpful in a performance application but there are many different styles/brands with their own plusses and minuses.
