maf problem?

maf problem?

ok guys 91 camaro 350 i have a real low idle so i thought maybe my maf connector was unplugged(its broken bought a new one but not here yet) i plugged it back in and my car runs up to 2000rpm then will jump to 3500 like its in neutral then shift only after 4000rpm then it will run all the way to redline in 2nd any ideas bad trans or can the maf do this

it will not start with the maf cable unplugged

91 z28's dont have a maf(mass airflow sensor)if I remember. It should be a speed density system with a map sensor.

your right i meant map sensor
