very rough idle
ok i have a very strange problem that has me confused.
when i start my car it idles and runs fine. problem starts after about 10 or 15 min it barely holds an idle. it starts to die but then comes back to life and keeps doing this until i give it more gas and take off. sometimes the idle gets so bad that it dies and wont start again unless i jump it.
as far as i can tell my TPS is in proper working order. im sure that its a sensor that is going bad but dont know which one.
my car has sat for a while because i ride my motorcycle everywhere and that might be a part of the problem.
any suggestions would help. i have thought about ripping off the TPI setup and putting on a carb but i have also thought of just selling it.

Re: very rough idle
Could be a sticking IAC valve. I would remove it, clean it up, and then set adjust minimum air and the TPS. Directions:

It could also be a vacuum leak, make sure all vacuum lines are connected and not leaking.
