LB9 Fuel Injector OHM's check (cold)

I put the T/A in storage a couple of weeks ago.It was missing in all gears the day I put it away (what a **** off) anyway I started doing all the checks (spark plug gaps, plug wires, I put a new fuel filter on about 2 months ago).
The injectors are the original Multecs, here are the results from a ohm check (cold).

Cylinder # 1 - 16.1
Cylinder # 3 - 15.8
Cylinder # 5 - 15.6
Cylinder # 7 - 15.5
Cylinder # 2 - 15.9
Cylinder # 4 - 15.8
Cylinder # 6 - 15.8
Cylinder # 8 - 15.7

Does anyone know if these look like they are in spec or need to be replaced?

ohms are within range. Have you considered having them cleaned?

southbay, why don't you tell him that multecs have to be checked hot. They get turn to turn shorts that can only be detected by an impedance bridge not an ohm meter. When hot the short mostly shows up with an ohm meter. Do you use a bridge to check injectors? Do you even know what one is?

Oh, irocuroc what is a "impedance bridge"?

why is it not nessasary it the best test for a coil. They have been in use since ww2. A ohm meter can not determine a coil short if it only is there when hot or the. Ohm meter will work when they are hot ask any electrical engineer
You are misinformed if you just use a ohm meter

Also note that testing resistance of them only ensures that they're electrically okay. It could still be possible that one of them is clogged or sticking. You might try tapping on each injector with a screwdriver while the engine is running, and seeing if anything changes.

Re: LB9 Fuel Injector OHM's check (cold)

Checking cold with an ohm meter isn't worthless though. My old injectors tested from 9 ohms to 14 ohms sitting on my kitchen table. As cold as could be.

I think the hammer was too prove they were seated to show the height difference.. Never hit a injector with a hammer, only a crowbar.
