heads on a 305 tpi

alright i have a powerhouse 335 stroker with the origional 305 tpi heads my question is if i can use 202 tornado heads with my engine i don't really know too much about what heads i can use
so any help would be great

What's the casting numbers on the heads you have now?
It's stamped on the head between rocker studs.
The ones ending in "416" are very good when ported with performance valve job.

Everything I've read here says no you cant use 2.02 valves with a 305's small bore. You're stuck with heads that are 1.94" intake valves.

See if you can find any Aluminum L98 Vette heads. Have them ported w/ a valve job and that should wake up that 335. Or better yet throw on some of the 180cc AFR's. Definitely stay small on the valves or they will just be hogging up the cylinder area which will cause shrouding. IMO, heads are the most important area to look at so don't be afraid to spend a little extra money on professional porting or good aftermarket ones. You will be rewarded in the end.
