SLP cold air intake questions???

Hey gang,

I'm looking at getting the SLP cold air kit for my 88 Iroc, but noticed only Hawks, and Fast toys carry them. But the main thing that concerns me is that they say you need to relocate the battery over to the Driver side, if so was it hard and did the kit come with the necessary stuff to do this, if not what else did you need. Plus did you actually notice any improvement in power or mpg? Thanks, in advanced.

Ron

Re: SLP cold air intake questions???

IMHO you are better off keeping the intake system you have on your IROC. There are some threads showing how to eliminate the bottle neck on them. The SLP system is fine for Firebirds with their dismal intake system.

Re: SLP cold air intake questions???

Thanks GTA,

I tried searching for some threads, but nothing really showed up. Maybe I'm not punching in the right words. But I tried like bottleneck, air, intake filter, cleaner stuff liek that an dalmost nothing. If you can remember the thread and maybe link it I'd really appreciate it. Oh yea, I tried to contact Fast Toys, cause there webiste was showing they had it, they said no and no one else does, so I went back to there site later on and they took it off. At least thats good on there part to not lead on the customer! Props, for Fast toys!
