350 cam
I have a stock 87 GTA 350 auto, Im looking into upgrading the cam.
Was checking out comp cams 270HR and 280HR.
Plan on keeping the stock intake with 22lbs injectors with afr, any suggestions for a street/ strip cam?

Re: 350 cam
I'm no expert but the 270 strikes me as the upper limit for stock intake/heads.

Re: 350 cam
Its my opinion that its not worth it to swap the camshaft on a stock engine. You have to remove so much of the top end that its pointless to put it all back. Save your money and do the camswap at the same time you do the timing chain and intake upgrades.
Or do the cam and heads at the same time so you can use bigger and better camshafts.
Lastly, keep in mind with a cam swap, you'll gain a lot more power if you reprogram the computer, too.
