stock l98 head question...

I have an 89 iroc with the 5.7 tpi and was just wondering what the stock l98 casting #'s were for this car. The guy that owned it before me robbed them and put a set of mexican heads on it. I'm trying to keep this car as stock as possible. I did a search but found nothing.

Might be willing to buy a pair if someone has some.

Re: stock l98 head question...

Come to find out the whole motor is an aftermarket 90-up gm 5.7 4bolt crate motor with dished pistons. Either way these heads that are on it are 76cc and have to go...

And the donkey that put it in grinded the 4 middle intake bolt holes to fit the intake to the heads........yay!

So anyway I am still going to buy a set of iron l98's for it and possibly have them cut a little to raise my compression up because of the dish pistons.

The 083's are 64 cc correct??? If so if I milled them to 62cc what do ya think that would put me for compression (approx.) with these dished pistons?

Will I have any problems bolting up these heads to this 90-up block? thanks jay
