Estimate of HP?

Hey folks, have a question? I purcahsed the 200cc Dart heads from TPIS, Mini ram intake, and zz9 roller cam. I'm planning on rebuilding the bottom end also, still hoping to keep it a 350. I read about 58cc or 52cc and think it would be best to go with a 52cc thottle body. Also going with Comp cams full roller rockers. How much HP and Torque do you guys estimate I can get out of my new engine? Its a speed density system. Guys at TPIS estimated around 400-420, what do you think? First engine rebuild and would like to get 400. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

I had that same combo a few years back. It made around 300 horse at the wheels and around 330 torque. You should go with the zz409 cam. Its like night and day with performance. It added 30 more horse and 28 with torque

Just curious what HP you are putting out with your setup now, it looks similar to the setup I have in mind. I would like to get 400, what else could i do to acheive that level

Re: Estimate of HP?

cant believe u guys will only be pulling 400-420hp wiht the dart 200cc heads and mini ram... what are u guys lacking on?

like joeblue83, my 383 will be pumping out about 480-490hp and 480-500ftlbs. with 195cc patriot heads and a comp cams XFI 280. and a HSR.

u should be able to squeeze more power outa those heads/intake. easily

your talking 383 vs 350. joeblue83 said he wants to keep it 350 cubes. i think 400-420 is pretty respectable with a miniram and 200 cc heads. yea if he dropped a bigger cam and tweaked it i could see around 450-470 hp and 420 tq. but a 383 is definitely gonna be able to do more with the slightly smaller heads.
