could someone burn me a chip?? or help me

hey whats up all i have got a 85 385 tpi. i am dyin to see if a burnt chip would make my car run better that it does now.
the car runs and drive fine but i want to see if i could fine tune it to run better. my set up is a 85 385 tpi ported upper and lower intake, 24 lb injectors, 76cc heads shorty headers to a hooker aero chamber muffler.
i do have a 85 vett chip in my ecm so i can use the 24 lb injectors
cam specs are

214 deg@ .50 intake 477 lift
218 deg@ .50 exhaust 477 lift
with 1.5 rockers

my car ran a best of 14.05@ 96 mph in the 1/4 mile last year. i think this could be a little better. though the only exhaust i had at the time was the shorty headers. i just got the new exhaust and muffler last week.

i dont have the know how time or MONEY to buy the software cables or whatever i may need to tune this thing.

any help will be appreciated

You're right, a custom chip would help greatly.
Some cylinder head upgrades would also help.

Re: could someone burn me a chip?? or help me

There are several places in North America that offers to burn chips. In the USA try Fastchips. In Canada try Wester's Garage. I am currently corresponding with Wester's and will be placing my order soon.

You only want to order a custom chip once you are sure you plan on doing no more up grades to the engine or power train. Otherwise you need to get a new chip burnt to account for the changes.

I just reread an article last night entitled "Chips and Salsa" that provided dyno HP improvement of about 15 to 20 HP gains from a Fastchips custom chip. See the following:
