i have a pcmforless chip i dont know what all the tune is cuz it was in the car when i got it. i just wanted to ask do u have to know what the base timing is set at on it to set time or does it not matter?
I got it started yesturday finally after putin the fresh motor in it and the car will idle funny it will idle at 750 and go up to a grand and then back down to 750. it will do that every now and then while idle and then i took it for a drive and when slowin down for a red light the car just shut off i did that 2 times just goin to the gas station right down the road.
The only thing i changed when i put the fresh motor back in was i put a msd 8366 probillet distributor in,made up a set of 8.5 msd wires,swaped the 700r4 to a th350.Everything else is what was on the car when it was bought.
