the title is right..im talking about my 327 build


im just going to list some issues and hope someone can answer a few.

1. idles at 1200 rpm out of gear(when EST is disconnected it will idle where it should...700 rpm)
a. i have set min air and tps...datamaster confirms reading are correct.
b. computer is setup to see 6* of timing and i did the "tpi mod" and set the car at 8* timing ( i heard this maybe be causing weird idle issue

2. wont pull past 5500rpm at all(friends 350 CAN pull past 5500rpm)
a. stock upper half including heads/intake

3. no matter how i "setup" the tv cable adjustment it wont shift into 3rd gear at WOT...i have to lift petal and then stab gas and it shifts BUT it shifts into all the other gears just fine

seems really doogy and not powerful at all. A friend has did a basic tune that helped a million by changing my displacement and injector constant(im running 24lbs injectors)

my specs :
-327 bore to 333ci
-1103 summit cam 214/224 .442/.465 at 1.5 rocker and 112LSA
--forged psitons
-pink gm lt1 rods
-stock 1991 5.7L tpi heads/intake
-adjustable regulator at 50psi(seems to run best here)
--24# lt1 injectors
-supposed rebuilt 700r4 with "shift kit"
3300 rpm stall

(found out the stall speed after it was in car...was told it was 2800 and a lockup.....guy lied and that when i found it to be a 3300 stall

3.23 gear with G80

the exhaust consists of hedman 1-5/8" long tubes to custom y-pie and merges into a flowmaster 80 series and exits by 4" chrome tips
