i have a 87 firebird that i did a 2.8 to a 305 tpi conversion. then i recently did the 305 to a 350 tpi conversion. i believe that i have a bad lifter and while i have it apart i wish to put a new cam a lifter kit in it. what type and how big of a cam i can install with out changing my internals or it messing with my stock computer.

 

Is the 350 a roller cam or not

stock heads. and no its not a roller

 

you can go to Comp Cams website and download a program called Cam Quest. Then all you do is answer a few questions and the program will sort through and pull up all cam profiles that would work with your engine. It will tell you if you need to change computers or not also. I use it, and I think it is a pretty good tool.
