87 tpi tps not working

87 tpi tps not working
I was wondering,can a tps be bad even if it's adjusted right?? Does it affect the idle,or make the idle stick on high if not working? Seeing it tells the computer when your in the throttle.

Yes to all. Get a scanner and see if your getting a smooth flow of tps readings to 4. +
