Hey guys, I just bought a true 85 IROCZ the other day, and the guy told me someone put a 350 TPI in it, I was just wondering how to make sure that it is a 350. The car is very fast and will just smoke the tires if I hit it at a stop sign. To what i'v read 350's didnt come in 85 irocs. Im new to third gens, I own a 78 firebird so this seems like a whole new animal to learn. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

 

hey welcome to Third gen. I'm fairly new to the site as well. I remember someone saying check to the casting # on the block. I did a search for you and the post is called "how to tell it's a 350". you will find what you need there.
