350 or 305tpi
How do you tell the difference between a 350 tpi motor and a 305 tpi motor at a glance or just by looking?

The back driver's side of the block below china wall top of ledge will have either a 5.0L or 5.7L.
Other than that......
I've found that on each of my tpi's that the 305's came with silver valve covers and the 350's came with black valve covers. Again, this is just my personal observation and not necessarily a rule.

The valve covers isn't the best way to tell. My current 1989 350 tpi has silver valve covers and my last 1991 305tpi had silver valve covers. The only way to tell is the rear of the motor. Or looking for the part numbers on the injectors (big hassle) to see if they are 22Lb or 19lb.
