I realize I'm going to be called a Moron/Idiot by everyone that reads this, But I started a TBI-TPI swap on my car about 4yrs ago and while I was at it I am doing a few other things. Since I started I have ran into money problems, got married, garage where car was destroyed by a Hurricane 2 yrs and now recently we had a larger Hurricane hit that put me farther behind! What I need is some Detailed Pics of the engine bay ie.. egr hoses,vacuum hoses,wiring locations, brackets etc..... from a TPI Firebird! I will gladly send someone some money via PayPal for doing this, I have looked through DIY books and searched for some decent pics, and I can probably figure out where most stuff goes, but I want to restore this car to look as much like factoy that I can. Any help will be appreciated!

 

go to amazon and buy a book thats the best way. im also having issues with tpi and the books help.

 

do a search on here for engine bay pics, there has been threads recently or within the last year or so specifically about engine bay pics. You could probably find quite a few good pics to go by.

I was reading a thread a few weeks back with very detailed factory
pictures of the TPI plumbing. Search up it should pop up, if not ill
try to find something.

I have TPI Swappers Guide but there are really not any diagrams with hose routing, vacuum routing etc... What book do you have and is it thorough?

I did a few searches and most of what I found were pics of engine bays that were being painted < alot made my mouth water > but I couldn't find any with detailed pics of actual components. I tried the searching for pictures of the TPI plumbing and I couldn't find anything. I'll keep trying, that sounds like the tread I've been looking for. Thanks

 

If that doesnt do it, PM me questions of the locations in question. Alot of people
get overwhelmed by all the vacuum lines, hoses, wires and the accessory brackets.
But, you cant mess it up.. If it doesnt belong somewhere it most likely wont fit (easily)
