tpi bog down
here is the story, since i have had the car out of storage this year i have had the car bog down and die on me 4 or 5 times without warning.
I have been reading on these forums that one cause could be a fuel line in the fuel tank that disintegrates over time due to the chemical additives in gasoline, i had the fuel pump replaced a few years back, my question would be wouldn't they have replaced this fuel line at that time if that were the case?
Another cause could be and correct me if i'm wrong on this but it only seems to happen on days when it has rained recently but could moisture in the distributor cap also cause this? if so whats the remedy other than wd-40 (which i have done) all distributor cap brass connections have had electric grease put on them
Another cause i have read could be inline fuel filter clogged, well that was changed last year and the car hasn't been driven enough to justify a bad filter.
This little problem has only shown up this year, and i haven't done anything major to the engine
any thoughts?

Re: tpi bog down
Sounds like it is starving for fuel. Test your fuel pressure at the fuel rail test connector with the motor running and the vacuum line disconnected from the FPR. It should be about 44 psi.
