Help and advice buying Corvette heads pls!

I am ready to replace the stock heads in my LB9 and want to buy a set of fully ported and worked over aluminum Corvette heads. Because I have a 305, I will need them machined for 1.94/1.55 valves.

I guess my questions are, exactly what casting #'s am I looking for? I can always have a local place machine and port them for me. How many CC's are the combustion chambers on the heads? I'm shooting for 8.5-8.75 on my 305 because I will be running a ProCharger with them with high boost.

Also, I know the Y-Body EGR system comes off the back of the heads instead of the middle through the manifold like the F-Body EGR system. For the sake of space, can I make the Vette heads work with our EGR system?

Thanks!!!!!!

Corvette heads are a VERY common topic on this board, I'm surprised you didnt find anything.

The last three digits of teh casting number are 113, I know that.

The intake runner volume is 163cc's. The combustion chamber volume is 58cc.

The stock valve sizes are 1.94" and 1.50". The biggest those heads can run are 2.00" and 1.56", but the cost to get those valves sizes is higher than the little extra flow you get, I've been told. It might be worth it though with your blower.

Yes you can run a pipe from the headers to the EGR port on the back of an aftermarket TPI intake. I've posted the pictures of my old setup several times, so search for them.

You'll also need an aftermarket intake or a Corvette intake. The center 4 intake manifold bolt holes are the same angle as the outer 8, just like the old style heads.
