i have a 85 camaro 305 tpi engine 20,000miles rebuild, with the holley command 950. i am getting 22mpgs on the highway (which is great) but im only getting 11mpg in the city. car runs about 205 temp, whould increase temp a little, help mpg? looking for some ideas on what i can do to improve mpgs? like msd box or headers

 

well what is it, tuned port injection or carb?

 

He has a TPI with Holley 950 computer. I'm running the same thing. If you want, you could email me your file so I can see what your current tune is. Are you running a WB O2 and is your timing controlled by the computer? I would leave the temp alone.

 

Dont waste money on an msd box. I have herd headers will help but have never seen gains myself. Whats your gearing?

my car seems tuned pretty good. i do have the wideband and computer is controlling timming.
