fuel pressure regulator vacuum

fuel pressure regulator vacuum

Hy tpi guys,

Iwas wondering if i remove the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator and demple it would it dump up the pressure and help me when racing?

Then it would run rich all the time ; not only at WOT.

If you set the pressure at recommended 43psi; you will see with a gauge attached that it is down to 38ish at idle with the vac attached.The engine vac adjust the fuel pressure to give correct fueling as needed.
