help with code 32
Not sure on this but had a custom prom burned for 92 z28, 406cui, tpis intake, slp runners, holley 58mm tb, dart heads, 32psi injectors, shorties w/dual 2.50" exhaust, 520/520 roller cam tpis zz409, etc........... anyway, seems to run pretty good most of the time (got 200 miles now) however, just got a code 32 after cruising at 70 for awhile on a break in run. Seems to me I told the prom guy that we were deleting the egr. Should I still be able to get a code 32 now if it was done properly? Also on the scanner I get varying egr readings. Would that be correct? the egr solenoid has been removed as well. Also, temps are a little warm yet I have a 2 row northern radiator in it. Shouldn't the prom guy have made both my fans kick on sooner as well?? My IAC doesn't seem to be reading anything and I have the throttle plate screw in all the way. Can anybody out there shed any light on these issues or am I in the wrong forum? Thanks for your time. Oh yeah, the car has died a couple of times now for no apparent reason & doesn't idle as smooth as I had anticipated with a new balanced motor.

Re: help with code 32
Code 32 should not display if the PROM has the EGR turned off properly. You could get a Willem programmer, ALDL cable, and free software and tune for less than $150. It would be worth it in the long run. To get it running right usually takes anywhere between 10-1,000 chip burns.
